Our Keynote Speaker is John Romero!

Our keynote speaker this year is one of the friendliest giants in gaming history: John Romero, the co-founder of id Software and creative genius behind more than 130 video games. His work on Wolfenstein 3D and Quake dropkicked entire the video game industry into the third dimension, and his contributions as programmer and designer on the video game DOOM remains one of the most innovative and influential uses of Hell in modern history. He is an artist who pop culture impact could rightful be compared to the poets Dante and Milton, to William Blake and Hieronymus Bosch, and to Shigeru Miyamoto and J. R. R. Tolkien. It is a privilege and a pleasure to welcome Mr. Romero to our annual convention as our keynote speaker.
