Greetings NEPCA Community

A chalk board with Scrabble letters spelling out "NEPCA is coming" in the center.

In less than 1 month, we will be holding our first virtual conference–#NEPCA2020. We’re excited and looking forward to venturing into the future together.

To that end, we wanted to provide several support documents for our communitiy in prepartion for the conference.

The schedule is up and will be continually updated over the next few weeks as things change, but it is the key place to find the appropriate information about when events are going.

Please be sure to register as soon as possible (especially presenters–registration is due now!):

Upon registering, you will notice some mention of the program “Sched.” This will be the organizing platform for the different sessions and how to access the virtual sessions. We will be sharing more about Sched shortly but for now, you can learn about it by checking out their resources here.

We also wanted to share with you some resources that we have created to best prepare folks for what may be their first virtual conference. These guides will provide additional insights as to what you can expect. If you should have additional questions, let us know and we can update the guides or even add a “FAQ” section.

We recently realized that we were long overdue to update a code of conduct that reflects some of the challenges and concerns of being a scholarly society in the digital age. To that end, we wanted to highlight our new Code of Conduct and encourage the community members to read it through as well us keep us informed of concerns that arise. We very much appreciate the great community that we have fostered over the years around NEPCA and want to make sure we are as welcoming to all community members.

Thank you and we look forward to seeing you Oct 22-24!
