This year, we are ecstatic to announce that our Keynote Speaker for the 2023 NEPCA Annual Conference is Bill Oakley. This event will happen on the evening of Friday, October 13, 2023.

Bill Oakley is a former show-runner, executive producer and head writer of “The Simpsons,” best known for writing the much-memed “Steamed Hams” segment.  He has also written and produced “Futurama,” “Disenchantment,” “Portlandia” and “Close Enough” and has earned three Emmys and a Peabody Award for his work. Most recently, he authored the best-selling audiobook “Space: 1969” starring Natasha Lyonne.  His hobby is making funny Instagram food reviews (@thatbilloakley) which have earned him the monicker “The Gordon Ramsay of Fast Food.” In 2022, he founded “The Steamed Hams Society” which is now a thriving worldwide online community for food discussion and discovery.

NEPCA’s Annual Conference will be virtual this year, taking place from Thursday, October 12-Saturday, October 14 . You can find out more about the conference and we hope you will consider joining us. You can register here.
