CFP: Arts and Humanities Leadership: A Reference Guide

Dr. Kristin M. S. Bezio would like to invite you to contribute to Arts and Humanities Leadership: A Reference Guide, a new 1-volume library reference to be published in 2016. The submission due date for articles is November 18, 2015.

This cutting-edge reference is a unique opportunity to contribute to the contemporary literature, redefining sociological issues in today’s terms. Moreover, it can be a notable publication addition to your CV/resume and broaden your publishing credits. We offer an honorarium at 3 cents per word. Please note, you may have coauthors on any article and if this due date is not workable for you but you would still like to contribute, please let us know, and we will determine whether or not a later date would be feasible. Please reply by September 30 or sooner.

Short Description of Reference Guide

This comprehensive project will be published by Mission Bell Media (MBM), www.missionbellmedia.com. MBM publishes the best of thoughtfully curated, authoritative and inspirational leadership content for librarians, faculty and students, helping them learn from those who have already succeeded. Arts & Humanities Leadership will be focused on the practice of leadership in an arts/humanities framework. This project is about scholarship rather than practice and involves questions of politics, society, and influence within the disciplines of the arts and humanities.

Arts and Humanities Leadership examines in detail issues about arts and humanities leadership, including topics such as language acquisition, American protest literature, jazz music, feminism, and film genres among other topics. Arts and Humanities Leadership: A Reference Guide includes approximately 250 articles organized A–Z in the following categories:

Leadership Studies through The Classics; History; Languages; Law; Literature; Music; Dance; Philosophy; Religion; Sculpture; Visual Arts; Television and Film; and the Digital Arts.

Dr. Kristin M. S. Bezio, University of Richmond is the General Editor and will be reviewing each submission to the project.
